Throwing it back to 2004 this Thursday - I have had the pleasure of working with so many good people throughout my security career, this takes me back to Wi******er, providing cover to an event at the prestigious Guildhall, a venue you I used to enjoy providing teams too.

This was a very good, solid capable team I had the pleasure of working with, sadly the young lady in this picture is no longer with us but will always be remembered, RIP Anne Marie.

Throwing it back this Thursday, I’ve worked for some interesting people to say the least, I’ve worked with some solid, reliable, trustworthy colleagues, I’ve of course worked with some not to good, some I would happily never work with again, it’s the nature of the security industry of course.

Here was a pleasant task my friend and then close protection officer Steve Bendall where we were assigned to Jade Jagger, daughter of the rock god Mick Jagger as she partied at the prestigious sand polo event, a really pleasant event and a successful task, with a happy client.

One thing I’ve always taken great importance in and installed into, I expect and have always expected from my teams over the years is the taking pride in appearance, if your going to be customer facing, if you are are going to be the first and last person a customer sees and talks to then why not have pride in how you look and how you deliver yourself, don’t just meet, but exceed client expectations.

If your out there or you’ve just started out in the security industry, you don’t have to be like others, you don’t have to fit in, set your own standard, set your own benchmark, raise the bar, step things up, the good operators, the quality clients will appreciate it ✨

I’ve always been a huge fan of Heathers solo music, her songs carried such inspiring, thought provoking lyrics, that when I got to work for her, assigned to her it was a great moment! I remember she told me the week before she’s been to watch a big boxing match at Wembley, of course! We talked! Talked! Or maybe I talked about boxing just a bit.

A fantastic women, great artist and I look forward to seeing her again and hearing her do what she does best!

I’ve been truly blessed to work with, work for, be of service to some absolutely fascinating individuals, this gentleman here though, a national treasure. Paul John Gascoigne, nicknamed Gazza, this English former professional footballer who played as an attacking midfielder is an absolute legend, his story is a real rollercoaster there is no doubt about that, but what an absolute pleasure to be around, an absolute privilege to be able to talk to, listen to and have the responsibility of ensuring he felt safe, secure and comfortable, absolute legend 👌
