The Road to the Top Ten Finals Day on Sunday 16th Aug starts tonight. We are grateful to Paul Innes of PI Electrical for his sponsorship of this Tournament.

Holders Gilmerton bowling club travel to Pathhead & District Bowling Club to meet Eskmills Bowling Club in what is the pick of the First Round ties. Gilmerton are going for a Hat Trick of consecutive Titles and will face a tough test from Eskmills who are having a strong League Season with promotion to the Premership all but secured?

Eskmills are spearheaded by Midlothian Master & County Player Scott Young in the Singles and fellow County player David Torrance skips the Triples. The Gilmerton team will no doubt include County Skip Jamie Aitken and regulars Gary Robertson & BM Hon member Ramsay Blair but at the time of writing the team is under wraps!!!!

The full draw is available on the BM Website under Team Championships and wishing all the best to all competitors. If not playing why not pop along to a nearby green to watch some good bowling.

What a month March has been for PI Electrical ⚡️

We’ve been incredibly busy across a wide range of projects, including full rewires, extensions, soffit lighting installations, consumer unit upgrades, EICRs, full flat renovations and bespoke garden rooms. It’s been a full-on month with some great transformations, and it’s always rewarding to see jobs through from start to finish.

A massive thank you to all of our customers for choosing PI Electrical and trusting us with your homes and projects. Your continued support, recommendations and repeat business genuinely mean a lot to us and don’t go unnoticed.

April is already shaping up to be just as busy. We’ve got 2 extensions, a full house renovation, another full rewire, multiple garden rooms (working alongside Abbey Garden Rooms), as well as a variety of other domestic and commercial jobs already booked in.

We do still have very limited availability remaining for April, so if you’re planning any electrical work – whether it’s something small or a larger project – don’t hesitate to get in touch and get booked in.

Some recently completed jobs over the last few weeks at PI Electrical and also some 5 star reviews left from our customers⚡️⚡️

Full new outdoor lighting system at Eskmills Bowling Club adding the final touches to their renovation works.

Adding in 8 new spotlights to this lovely hallway and stair area.

Lighting upgrades at Midlothian Indoor Bowling Club so they have the option of not having the ‘Big Lights on’ when they have functions.

Lastly, a steel conduit job at this stunning garden room in Armadale, not something we do regularly but I must say it was a very enjoyable one and a fantastic finish rather than the plastic conduit.

These are only some of the jobs we have completed on the last two weeks, we have an extension and new kitchen running currently and also a full flat renovation amongst lots of other jobs on the daily.

What’s been on at PI Electrical this week⚡️⚡️

Nearly at the end of the week and so far we have been at multiple jobs throughout East Lothian, Midlothian, West Lothian and Edinburgh.
A full strip out of the wall which was the old kitchen before it was knocked down to create a new open kitchen/diner. We also rewired for the new kitchen and added in spotlights, an outside light and moved switches to suit the new layout of the room. We will be returning next week for fit out. Working alongside GR8 Construction for this one.
We have added spotlights with a dimmer switch into this lovely new dressing room.
We also completed another strip out and Rewire of this a smaller kitchen and will be returning next week to fit out!
Today we fitted a full cctv system for a customer in Bonnyrigg.
Alongside this we have completed some eicrs, pat tests and numerous smaller jobs.
Another 4 smaller jobs tomorrow to finish the week⚡️

A busy start to the 2026 for PI Electrical.
A kitchen completed, a Rewire first fixed along with many other smaller jobs including Pat testing and Eicrs for property developers, commercial shops and some local bowling clubs.
We are still running our soffit lighting deal of £350 for 10 led lights with a photocell sensor and isolater switch, some pictures provided of recent ones completed.
Also if you book your job in in the month of January we will give you 15% off the works.

An extremely busy few weeks in the run up to Christmas at PI Electrical. With only going full time in September I’d like to say a massive thanks to everyone who has used us so far and have passed our name on to friends and family, it’s greatly appreciated.

Here’s some pictures of the work we have completed in recent weeks.

Numerous kitchens, lots of different styles of soffit lighting, chandeliers, Ev chargers, outside sockets, first and second fix of an extension, a commercial fit out for a dispatch area.

These are only some of the jobs we have completed.
