Loving how all our trees have grown on the campsite. A lot of these were planted by us in the first few years when we moved in, (24 years ago now!) Now they're actually reaching decent heights to provide lots of shade on sunny days, and lots of options for hanging up hammocks. We're still planting more though, you can never have too many trees in my opinion 😅

Quite a mix of weather we've had for the first bank holiday of the season , but all our campers survived the extreme winds last night and have been rewarded with some sunshine this morning

Lots of work getting done in the sunshine at Llechrwd. A new living willow dome and a living willow tunnel installed today (and approved by biscuit). A new perching bench almost finished down by the river, and a few new trees put in alongside the new sign (also approved by biscuit). The water has also been put back on in the toilet block today so next job is to give it a good spring clean ready for opening on the 27th March.

Happy March ! We're aiming to open on the 28th of March this year , so we're currently busy getting llechrwd ready. Including having this fantastic new sign installed , which came from the lovely people at and tells you all about what you might spot on or in the river. Imagine sitting next to your tent spotting all this wonderful wildlife
