Nice to see the kids enjoying themselves building dams in the river, I remember doing this too when I was a kid. We're now fully booked this weekend, but we have spaces available from Sunday onwards

**** BBQ AND CAMPFIRE BAN IN FORCE**** Whilst we normally allow campfires here at llechrwd , the ground is so incredibly dry at the moment and fire crews have enough to deal with with the wild fires that are currently raging locally. So we have decided to ban BBQS and campfires at Llechrwd until we get some rain. Please also be sensible with any source of flame (ci******es , gas stoves, candles etc) it really only takes a spark at the moment its so dry

Loving how all our trees have grown on the campsite. A lot of these were planted by us in the first few years when we moved in, (24 years ago now!) Now they're actually reaching decent heights to provide lots of shade on sunny days, and lots of options for hanging up hammocks. We're still planting more though, you can never have too many trees in my opinion 😅

Quite a mix of weather we've had for the first bank holiday of the season , but all our campers survived the extreme winds last night and have been rewarded with some sunshine this morning
