I've been using these deep root trainers for several years and have had good results with carrots, beetroot, parsnips and swedes. Pre-germinated seeds (germinated between damp tissue paper) are placed in each plug with a tweezers.

First crop of potatoes, Estima. Ate them the same day...great!
