We're thrilled to announce that we've secured yet another project - this time for the design and installation of air conditioning and ventilation systems at Corner Point, Nottingham.

Corner Point is an impressive 210-bed, 4-storey student residential development on a sloping site, rated BREEAM "Very Good". The scheme is packed with fantastic amenity spaces, including:

Elevate Mechanical & Electrical Ltd is proud to announce that we've been awarded the contract for the design and installation of air conditioning and ventilation systems for the conversion of Old Steine, Brighton - a Grade II listed Georgian townhouse development.

This landmark project will transform underused office space into 33 modern bedrooms for student accommodation, breathing new life into a beautiful historic building just moments from Brighton's iconic seafront.

Working on listed Georgian architecture always brings unique challenges and rewards — and at Elevate M&E, we're looking forward to delivering a solution that respects the character of the building while meeting the comfort and air quality standards today's students expect.

We’re looking for an experienced **Accounts Administrator / Bookkeeper** to join **Elevate Mechanical & Electrical Ltd**.

As the business continues to grow, we’re bringing more of our day-to-day finance function in-house and want someone who can take genuine ownership of it.

The role will include:

• Managing day-to-day bookkeeping in **Xero**
• Purchase and sales ledgers
• Bank, credit card and supplier reconciliations
• Supplier and subcontractor payment runs
• Credit control
• VAT and CIS records
• Payroll support
• Subcontractor accounts
• Project/job cost allocation
• Applications for payment and retentions
• General office/accounts administration

**AAT Level 3 or 4 would be beneficial, but strong practical experience is just as important.**

Previous experience within **construction, M&E, contracting or a subcontractor environment** would be a big advantage.

This is a new in-house role with the opportunity to become the go-to person for the day-to-day accounts function and grow with the business.

📢 Another major project secured 📢

Grant-Air Limited has been appointed to deliver a large-scale mechanical upgrade across a major UK transport hub, covering multiple operational buildings within a live environment. ✈️

The project includes full upgrades to AHUs, VRF systems and extract ventilation, alongside the removal of legacy gas infrastructure as part of a wider transition towards more efficient, future-ready building services.

Operating in a highly controlled, security-sensitive environment brings its own challenges, from logistics and access to programme coordination but it’s exactly the type of project our team is built for.

Projects like this don’t just happen. They’re the result of consistent delivery, strong relationships, and a reputation for getting the job done properly.

Delighted to announce that Grant-Air has secured the full Design & Build MEP contract for Washington Court, Birmingham.

The works comprise a £2m MEP package, including the complete design, supply and installation of:

• Electrical Systems (Mains Distribution, Lighting & Power)
• Fire Alarm, Security & Access Control Systems
• Photovoltaic Systems
• Infra-Red Heating Systems
• Mechanical Ventilation and Comfort Cooling
• Public Health Installations
• Anti-ligature sanitaryware and fixtures throughout

The scheme forms part of Birmingham City Council’s initiative to increase the supply of suitable temporary accommodation for vulnerable families, helping move away from large-scale hostel provision towards safer, family-based supported housing.

Washington Court will provide secure, comfortable temporary accommodation alongside dedicated support to help families transition into permanent homes.
