Just 4 weeks in, and we’ve installed nearly all of the containment and hangers across this 200,000 sq. ft. industrial unit fit-out! ⚡️

The level of progress we’ve achieved in such a short space of time is something I genuinely didn’t think was possible. But with the right lads, the right attitude and an unbelievable work ethic, anything is possible!

This week has seen us tackle some of the more challenging sections of the installation. From working around purlins that seem determined to run in every direction except the one we need, to awkward containment installations within the purlins and numerous vertical drops.

We’ve also had a few design changes thrown into the mix, requiring us to reposition previously installed containment and incorporate additional runs.

Despite all of this, the lads have continued to push forward at an incredible pace, without compromising on the quality of the installation.

Fantastic progress. Fantastic workmanship. Even better lads. 👏🏽

Hopefully, next week will see us moving onto the lighting installation as another major stage of this project gets underway!

The lads across every single one of our projects are on some serious smoke at the moment! 💨
The work rate and effort across the board have been absolutely unreal!

Another week of absolutely fantastic progress on one of our ongoing projects 🤝🏾

Our 33kV substation fit-out is well and truly in full swing, and the progress over the last few weeks has been nothing short of incredible!

- All comms cabling installed
- Small power & lighting complete
- Secondary containment nearing completion
- LVDB almost fully terminated
- External lighting complete

It’s safe to say this project has seriously taken shape over the last few weeks, and the transformation has been unreal!

An unbelievable effort from everyone involved, with the quality of workmanship matching the pace of installation.

With the 33kV switchgear and remaining panels due to arrive at the beginning of next month, we’re gearing up for another big push as this project continues to come together! ⚡️

Nearly 2KM of containment and supports installed in ONE WEEK 😮‍💨

The numbers coming out of our 200,000 square foot industrial fit-out are getting absolutely ridiculous…

And this is just THIS WEEK’S progress 👇🏽

- 300 metres of Unistrut hangers

- 700 metres of 400mm basket

- 200 metres of 200mm basket

- 200 metres of 300mm tray

- 200 metres of 150mm tray

It’s safe to say we’re big fans of statistics here at Current Innovation 👌🏽

Another absolutely MONSTER week from the lads on site. The sheer scale of this project is something else, but the rate these boys are progressing is even more impressive.

A MONTH OF ABSOLUTE DREAMS AS A BUSINESS OWNER ❤️

September, done & dusted. What a month for Current Innovation! 😮‍💨⚡️

We’ve officially entered the busiest period in our company’s history, with major projects right across the UK. The lads have been absolutely flying! 👏🏽

⚡️ SOLAR FARM PROJECT

All current works wrapped up! 300mm² 3-core cables were the weapon of choice, including some brutal MV station terminations with just 300mm from cleat to connection point. The boys smashed every challenge put in front of them! 💪🏽

🏗️ 200,000 SQ. FT. INDUSTRIAL FIT-OUT

What a start on this absolute monster of a project. Containment is flying up, and we’re on track to finish the main runs this week. The progress has been phenomenal! 🔥

⚡️ 33kV SUBSTATION FIT-OUT

Months of preparation finally turned into boots on site for a brand-new client. Another project moving at some pace, with fantastic feedback already coming in. 👌🏽

🔧 YEAR TWO OF MAINTENANCE

As if that wasn’t enough, we returned for our second year of electrical maintenance at one of the UK’s largest railway stations 🚆 and the UK’s biggest Pokémon card distributor 🃏. Repeat business means the world to us.

BEHIND THE SCENES

More quotations accepted, more work secured, and TWO MORE SOLAR FARMS given the green light! ☀️

It’s hard to put into words what this month means. What started as an ambition is turning into something special, and none of it would be possible without the team. The long hours, miles on the road and pride in the work never go unnoticed.

September was our biggest month yet, and we’ve got no plans to slow down.

October, you’ve got some big shoes to fill! 🚀

More hangers than Heathrow ✈️

Another absolutely solid effort from the lads on site this week, making this 200,000 sq ft industrial fit-out look like child’s play

Close to 600 metres of Unistrut hangers + 100 metres of double-stacked Unistrut installed & Nearly 1,000 lengths of Unistrut installed in the last 2 weeks alone 😮‍💨

A serious amount of steelwork has gone in already and we haven’t even started installing actual containment yet

This one is seriously starting to take shape 🔥

Week 2 nearly completed & some big progress made 🤝🏾

The lads have absolutely flown this week and the project is really starting to take shape.

Primary containment complete site wide,Lighting installation complete,DB containment complete,Auxiliary transformer delivered & Wiring now underway

A serious amount of work ticked off in just two weeks, and we’re now moving straight into the next phase.

It’s a pleasure to have been awarded this project by a new client, the end result on this one is going to be something very special 👌🏽

The lads have put in one hell of a shift this week

The switch room & control room are already close to having all primary & secondary containment installed — ladder, trunking & conduit

We’re just waiting on a few final measurements in the transformer room, then we’ll be getting stuck straight into that one too.

A cracking start to what’s going to be a serious project
