Lucinda enjoying the view from the tractor at Sparr Farm as we head out for another day of pulling out the old fencing in one of the fields ready for half the field to be cut for hay and the rest to be fenced up properly ready for the mares and foals to be turned out - I don’t think they’re going to be short on grass for a while! It’s amazing what some rest and fertiliser/lime (and some rain!) being given to the fields does, it’s the best I’ve seen these fields in a long time!

Out with the old and in with the new…

Time to start our next fencing project. We’re pulling all this old and unsightly fencing at Sparr Farm and replacing it with post and rail. We can’t wait to get the mares and foals onto this lush grass once the fencing is done!
