Big investment. Bigger capability.

The first phase of our latest investment has landed at BA Joinery.

We’ve welcomed a brand new HOMAG DRILLTEQ V-310 to our workshop, the first part of further investment coming over the next few months.
The new machine takes a programmed design and accurately machines the holes, grooves and cut-outs needed to assemble the finished product, boosting accuracy, productivity and efficiency while saving manufacturing time and improving consistency.

It’s another step forward in strengthening our production capabilities and continuing to deliver the quality our customers expect.

And this is only Phase 1…

A key part of the finishing process at BA Joinery. 👇🏼

Our spray facility allows the team to achieve a consistent, high quality finish across bespoke joinery, with each component prepared, sprayed and checked before moving on to the next stage of production.

It’s one of the many processes happening behind the scenes at our manufacturing facility, helping us maintain quality from initial design through to installation.

It’s the details you might never notice in the finished piece that make the difference.

Here, each section of veneer is being laid out and matched by hand, carefully following the grain so that when it is applied to the individual components, the pattern flows naturally across the finished cabinetry.
It’s a process known as veneer matching, and on a bespoke piece with multiple sections like this, getting the sequence and positioning right before anything is applied is key.

A small part of the manufacturing process, but one that makes a huge difference to the final finish.

A great night representing Teesside at the North East Business Awards. 🏆

Following our Teesside Growth Award shortlist, we headed to the Grand Final at Hardwick Hall, where BA Joinery was shortlisted for the overall North East Growth Award alongside eQuality Solutions Group and Neptune North.

To be recognised amongst businesses from across the region for the growth we’ve achieved is something the whole team can be proud of.
