Failed verge and undercloak replacement completed in Hastings.

The existing verge had failed and had previously been packed with expanding foam to stop it rattling 😅

We removed the loose material, installed a new undercloak and bedded the verge back in fresh mortar to leave everything secure and properly finished.

A much stronger and more permanent repair for the roof edge ✅

Garage flat roof replacement completed by the team in Brighton. 🏚️

This one required much more than just a new roof covering. We had to carefully remove sections of brickwork to replace rotten structural timbers, including new wall plates, joists and firrings, before installing new OSB decking, fascia and a full torch-on felt roofing system.

A proper rebuild from the structure up and a great job completed by the lads.

Another pitched roof overhaul completed in Sussex 👌

Once we stripped the existing tiles back, it was clear the old roofing felt had seen better days, with a number of damaged areas leaving the roof at risk of water getting through.

We removed the old felt and battens, installed a new breathable membrane with treated timber battens, then carefully refitted the existing concrete tiles to keep the original look of the property.

A much better roofing system underneath, without unnecessarily replacing tiles that were still perfectly serviceable.

Nice tidy finish and another roof properly protected for the years ahead.

Drone Roof Survey Completed in Bromley

We recently completed a detailed drone roof survey in Bromley for a customer whose insurer requires the roof to be inspected every two years due to more than 25% of the property having a flat roof covering.

Using our high-resolution drone, we inspected the flat and pitched roof coverings, chimney stacks, leadwork, roof windows, ridges, hips, valleys and rainwater outlets without the cost or disruption of scaffolding.

Overall, the roof was found to be in good, serviceable condition. Only minor maintenance was recommended, including localised attention to weathered chimney mortar and clearing leaves from the gutter and valley areas.

Our drone roof surveys provide photographic evidence and a written condition report for:

• Planned roof maintenance
• Leak investigations
• Property purchases
• Landlords and managing agents
