We hope everyone is well and keeping safe.

We felt the need to post this after seeing and hearing several people being given the advice that when they have snapped thier key in the lock to do the hot glue gun trick/hack. Whilst this may appear to be a good idea (and I'm sure a few people may have got very lucky and got away with this) the best advice we can offer people is *not* to put glue into locks. The glue gets into other places and stops the lock from turning and, needless to say, the majority of the time it will not get your key out.

A tip for the summer months squirting some wd-40 in all the lock barrels you have keeps the pins moving freely and will prolong the life of lock barrels and keys

Tip...you are going to save so around 50% if you get a spare key while you have a working key

as the weather warms up we would like to remind everyone that spraying a bit of wd-40 down ignition barrel and door locks helps reduce chances of keys breaking in locks or locks jamming.
