👉 About Acorn Builders:
Acorn Builders Ltd works closely with insurance companies, Third Party Administrator’s, and Brokers to restore homes and premises to their pre-loss condition, ensuring policyholders receive high end reinstatement repairs.

👉 The Role:
We are looking for reliable, courteous, and driven individuals to join our teams. The role will involve larger projects as well as smaller repairs and general building work. Key skills include high end tiling and shower panels, plumbing and carpentry.

👉 Required:
•⁠ ⁠Experience and proven track record as Kitchen & Bathroom Fitter, 5 years +
•⁠ ⁠Clean Full Driving License
•⁠ ⁠DBS check (appropriate for role, funded by Acorn Builders)
•⁠ ⁠Ability to be proactive, work under own initiative and under pressure, as well as part of a team.
•⁠ ⁠Adheres to health & safety regulations, safe working practices and use appropriate protective equipment.
•⁠ ⁠Customer focused and communicates effectively with policy holders and surveyors in a professional and courteous manner.
•⁠ ⁠All work is completed to a high standard and specification.

Acorn Builders is looking for a Claims Handler to join our insurance reinstatement team.

This role is primarily office-based at our Bexhill office. However, remote working may be considered for candidates who have the relevant experience within the insurance reinstatement industry and can confidently manage claims with minimal supervision.

Previous experience within the insurance reinstatement industry is preferred but not essential for office-based candidates, as training can be provided for the right person.

You'll liaise with surveyors, clients and policyholders, ensuring communication keeps flowing and that internal and external systems are updated with the latest claim information.

You'll also answer and direct telephone calls and assist with internal emails.

📅 Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm
