Work Experience at Azure Notions Ltd 👏
Last week we had the pleasure of welcoming Skyla to the Azure Notions Ltd team for her work experience.
Rather than just watching from the sidelines, she got involved in the day-to-day running of the business, gaining an insight into what it really takes to deliver construction projects from start to finish.
Throughout the week, Skyla experienced:

📧 Emails, logistics planning & client communications
📞 Calls with clients and suppliers
🏗️ Site visits with architects and clients
👷 Seeing how our site teams operate across multiple live projects
🪣 Having a go at plastering
🏠 Trying her hand at slating on the iconic listed entrance lodge at No.10 Blackheath Park
🏙️ Visiting rooftop projects at Park Vista with incredible views across London and Greenwich Park.
It’s easy to look at a finished project, but there’s a huge amount of planning, organisation and teamwork behind every job. We wanted Skyla to experience every stage of the process—from the office to the site.
As her dad and the owner of Azure Notions, I wanted to show her that there’s no fast track in this industry. You earn respect by putting the work in. Start at the bottom, learn every part of the trade and build your knowledge step by step. Graft equals success—there’s no gold rope here.
We’re proud of the enthusiasm she showed throughout the week, and hopefully she’s gone away with a real appreciation of what goes into running a construction company.
