Using five years of Met Office temperature data across ten UK cities, we found that the average day that Brits reach for the thermostat is... just one day away!

That's right, tomorrow is statistically set to be this year's National Turn On Day based on our study of historical weather patterns.

Your home, local conditions and comfort needs should determine when you use your heating.

We’re joining Assemble: Derby’s Making Festival on Saturday 24 October for a day packed with creativity, invention and plenty to get hands-on with.

Come and find the Vaillant team at our stand, where you can meet the people behind our products, take a closer look at what we make and have a go at some fun activities for yourself.

Taking place at the Museum of Making in Derby, Assemble brings together more than 60 makers and artists, with everything from robotics and metalwork to ceramics and embroidery to discover.

It’s a brilliant family-friendly day out for anyone who loves finding out how things work – or having a go at making something themselves.

From 20–31 October, Helios by internationally acclaimed artist Luke Jerram will transform the Cathedral with a spectacular seven-metre model of the Sun.

Combining detailed imagery from NASA observations and astrophotography with light and sound, the immersive installation offers an incredible opportunity to experience our nearest star up close.
