A little bit about the person behind RenoGlow Property Services 👋

I’ve had a tool in my hand since I was about 5, so I suppose this was always on the cards. 🔨

I genuinely love what I do — seeing the potential in a property, bringing ideas to life and, most importantly, helping people along the way. Big job or small, they all matter.

RenoGlow is also about building something I’m proud of for myself and my family. My wife and son are a pretty big part of my ‘why’ ❤️

So here’s a little bit about me, the family behind me, and the business I’m building — one dusty job at a time. 😏

✨ Bathroom RenoGlowUp ✨

This transformation was about much more than replacing an old bathroom suite - it was a complete rebuild from the ground up.

We removed the existing suite and tiles, along with all the old plasterboard, flooring and subfloor. We then:

🔨 Reworked the plumbing for the new wall-mounted vanity
🔨 Reboarded the walls using durable cement board
🔨 Installed a new subfloor and tiling membranes
🔨 Tanked the entire room to protect the timber-frame property from water ingress
🔨 Retiled the walls and floor
🔨 Installed the complete new bathroom suite
🔨 Reskimmed the ceiling (quality finish as always from Taylor Plastering). 🙌
🔨 Added new electrics for the LED mirror

The beautiful finish is what you see - but the careful preparation behind it is what will help this bathroom stand the test of time.

This project was an absolute pleasure to complete. Our client has lived in their home for 40 years and wanted to rejuvenate it for the years ahead. We’re delighted to have helped bring a fresh new feel to such a well-loved home.

🏠 GARAGE TRANSFORMATION – BEFORE ➡️ AFTER

Another recent project completed by RenoGlow, transforming a cold and damp garage into a dry, insulated, heated and usable space all year round.

This one needed more than just a cosmetic makeover.

Because of the neighbouring ground level, the garage had significant damp issues. We stripped away the old damp render and installed a full internal waterproof membrane system with a dedicated gully drainage system to properly manage any future water ingress.

We then carried out the full transformation:

⚡ Garage completely rewired with new sockets & spotlights
💡 External motion-sensor lighting
🔥 Heating pipework replumbed & new radiator installed
🏠 Insulated plasterboard throughout
🔨 New partition creating a separate storage area
🧱 400x400 decorative paving slab floor
🚪 New opening created with barn-style garden doors
⬆️ New roller garage door replacing the old up-and-over
🎨 Finished throughout in brilliant white

The result is a bright, clean and practical space — but more importantly, the work behind the finished walls means it's properly waterproofed, insulated and heated.

🏡 Restoring Character. Protecting Heritage.

Not every renovation is about replacing. Sometimes it's about preserving what makes a building special.

We recently completed the restoration of timber windows in a listed building that were originally installed over 35 years ago. Years of exposure had caused the timber to deteriorate, leading to water ingress, cold drafts, and mould issues throughout the property.

Our team carefully removed all damaged timber, handcrafted replacement sections to match the original design, and carried out a full restoration and repainting programme.

Working on listed buildings requires a different approach. Every detail must respect the property's history and character, with traditional craftsmanship used to replicate original features while improving performance and longevity.

The result? Windows that look true to the building's heritage while providing many more years of protection against the elements.
