Meet Anna, our R&D Placement Student 👋

Anna is studying Chemistry at Queen's University Belfast and is spending her third year with us as part of her year in industry.

From supporting product formulation and testing strength and flexibility in R&D, to spending one day a week with our Quality Control team, Anna is gaining hands-on experience across the business.

Having previously pictured herself pursuing a career in the beauty industry, she has been surprised by how much she is enjoying the world of construction chemicals—and she’s excited to see what the rest of her placement brings.

An interesting fact about Anna? She loves reading and even runs her own book club! 📚

Kilkenny’s past and future coming together.

Set against the historic Abbey, the extensive Abbey Quarter public realm project is taking shape in the heart of Kilkenny City.

David Walsh Civil Engineering is using the complete Larsen Streetscape paving mortar system:

• FBC Type 35 Permeable Bedding Mortar
• PS ECO Priming Slurry
• FJM ECO Smooth Jointing Mortar

The sweeping curves, detailed sett paving and stepped walkways give a real sense of the scale, precision and workmanship involved.

Fantastic to see the progress so far. We’re looking forward to seeing the completed space.
