The 7.36kWp south-facing solar array is paired with a 10kWh Solis battery, helping the customer store more of the electricity generated during the day and use it later around the home. The MyEnergi Eddi also puts surplus solar energy to work heating hot water, with the complete system expected to provide around 80% independence from the grid.

☀️ Commercial solar grants have DOUBLED!

Our commercial team have just completed a new 75kWp solar PV system at Haldane Fisher’s Ladas Drive site in Belfast with no downtime or disruption to day-to-day operations.

The 4.6kWp solar array is paired with a 5kWh MyEnergi Libbi battery, storing excess electricity generated during the day so it can be used around the home later when it’s needed. The 5.52kWp solar array works alongside a 10kWh Dyness G2 Powerbox battery, giving the customer the ability to store more of the electricity generated during the day and use it later when demand around the home is higher. As the days get shorter, the battery can also be topped up overnight using cheaper off-peak electricity rates, helping reduce the amount of higher-priced electricity bought from the grid during the day.

The current 0% VAT rate on qualifying UK home solar installations is due to end on 31 March 2027, with VAT returning to 5% from 1 April 2027.
