Those of you who have visited our HQ over the last few months would have endured limited parking, restricted access and lots of drilling and banging. We're now pleased to show possibly the best view of our building which is our new roof and solar installation. 'Sustainable Business' is one of our key three values alongside 'Safe People' and 'Happy People' and sustainable power generation is one of our strategic investments ready for AMP8.

Thank you to the wonderful students and teachers from St Benedict's Catholic Primary School who joined us for our Remembrance service today. Their handmade wreaths and thoughtful prayers helped make it a very special ceremony.

Today Goldfinch and Kingfisher Class represented the school at the annual Bridges remembrance service. At the service they read prayers and laid 6 wreaths, one made by each class. 🌹

Back in school, Mrs Winter led the children in a remembrance service where the children spent time reflecting on the importance of Remembrance Day and taking part in the 11am 2minute silence 🌹

Bridges Electrical Engineers are running a free manufacturing training bootcamp in January and February 2024, being held at our training academy in Midsomer Norton, Somerset.

You will learn the basic practical skills, and theory behind Electrical and Mechanical Manufacturing.

Running for 4 weeks on Mondays and Tuesdays 8.30am to 4.00pm.

First day of the course will be Monday 22nd January.

Program content will be:
Health & Safety awareness, Electrical Safety & awareness, Electrical Installation & Testing, Control Panel Building & Wiring, Mechanical Installation & Testing, and CV/Interview techniques followed by interviews.

🚮 Yesterday a cohort of our team got their hi-vis on and grabbed a litter picker to go out in the Midsomer Norton sunshine and picked up litter from the Westfield Industrial Estate.

🚮 We picked up a total of 8 bags and 35kg of litter in just under an hour.

🌟 Thanks to our brilliant Sophie Freeman for organising! And to the rest of our team Georgina Keal, Sam Gould, Carly Busch, Sam Scriven, Jon Smith, Benjamin Parker, Linda Clarke, Molly Robson, Megan Tolley, Jason Clarke, and Tom Chapman.

🌞 Everyone enjoyed their time giving a bit towards the community, the sun even managed to stay out for the duration for us too.
