Twelve years ago, when I was studying architecture and urban design at postgraduate level, I learned about many urban design theories, many of which were related to the UK. Now, whenever I travel to a city in England, it feels like I am revisiting those lessons design the city, environmental , living with and art, urban landmarks, and most importantly, urban .

These days, some of us have become spectators people who, without even realising it, felt pleased about Iran’s destruction during the twelve-day war. Back then, many protested against Israel. But this time, they had prepared the ground months in advance: through killings and bloodshed inside Iran, they built legitimacy for themselves.

Today, this is not only a war of missiles and weapons; it is a media war a war of narratives, largely shaped by media power that has long been in the hands of Israel and the United States. In the middle of all this, the blood spilled in Iran became part of their propaganda machinery, while crowds—people who have never studied history, or have forgotten it took part in the spectacle.

We have been deceived: we are both witnessing Iran’s destruction and the deaths of our people, and we have also lost the game in this war of narratives. And most painfully, we sometimes come to believe that war is the path to salvation and the road to freedom.

Today I was talking with my friends. All three of us have been feeling worried and upset these days. We found ourselves wondering whether we are unlucky people.
Then we remembered our parents. They lived through even harder times than we have. In the early years of their youth, a revolution happened. In the middle of the Iran–Iraq war, they fell in love. During eight years of war, they built their families and had children. After the war, they faced failure in their businesses many times because of poor governance, yet they rebuilt again and kept moving forward.

They gave us, their children, love and support. And now, in their retirement years, they must endure being far from their children and perhaps risk losing everything again.

In the end, my friends and I realized that we are actually fortunate. We must try harder to be strong. Like our parents, even in the worst circumstances, we must continue living fall in love, work, support one another with hope, effort, and empathy.

We need strength. We need resilience. And we also need patience and kindness.

When you’ve built your whole life in your own country and then you’re forced to move to another one, you step onto a path that is truly full of hardship, stress, and worry. But the happy and hopeful part is your friends those who stay by your side along the way; friends who stand with you through all these struggles, support you, and sometimes even become like family. Protecting friendship and love is the most important part of life, both in happiness and in hard times .

How do we survive tough architecture projects in Revit? Revit is a lovely program 😄 but all the detailing can be exhausting. With some tasty snacks and a little cooking break in between, you can get through it more easily and cut the stress. That’s my hack،what’s yours?
