When The King Alfred's Academy decided to merge its three sites into two to improve the student experience, it also developed a new science block featuring 12 classrooms and nine laboratories equipped with high-specification facilities.

There was only one rigid polyisocyanurate (PIR) insulation board that could do the job and help increase efficiency in this new building... Eco-Versal!

Following its transition to an Academy in 2010, the Duke of York's Royal Military School expanded admissions to civilian families for the first time. To accommodate an additional 250 students, the existing school buildings were refurbished and expanded.

Fitted between and over the roof battens, Eco-Versal provided a lightweight insulation solution that was easy to handle and could be cut quickly and simply to fit with a hand saw or sharp knife ☑️

Steering the new Exploration wing at the National Maritime Museum to success 🚢

The new galleries were set to display over 1000 artefacts, so efficient, high-performance insulation was needed from the start!

120 mm thickness of EcoTherm Eco-Versal was the chosen solution, supplied by insulation and drylining specialists, Elliotts Builders Merchant, which were then installed and fixed to the timber frame walls by hygiene wall and ceiling experts, MBF Hygiene Systems LTD 🙌
