MAPPLEWELL PROJECT 🙌🏼🏡

2 patio areas completed at this property, with the existing paving taken up and replaced with Indian Stone.

Both areas were fully prepared with a new 20mm hardcore base before laying the new slabs. The main patio was also slightly extended to improve access to and from the garden gate and make better use of the available space.

At the bottom of the garden, the old overgrown bushes and ground were removed to open the area up. This space was then transformed into a new Indian Stone seating area with surrounding borders and a sheltered pergola, creating a much more practical and usable part of the garden.

A huge difference from what was there before 👏🏼🧡

Another two similar projects completed! 👷🏼‍♂️🏠

Project 1:

Our customer wanted to replace their existing dining room window with new patio doors as part of their open-plan renovation.

We started by carefully removing the existing window and forming the new opening before installing the patio doors. We then built a new step to suit the customer’s requirements.

Inside the property, the existing kitchen double doors and stud walls were removed to create a larger opening into the kitchen. The joinery work was then completed before the area was plastered, freshly decorated, and finished with new laminate flooring throughout, completing the transformation. ✅

Project 2:

We were brought in by LC.Joinery to brick up part of the existing patio door opening, creating a new opening for a window as part of the clients new kitchen installation. 🔨

As part of the work, we also installed a new steel lintel, as there wasn’t one in place and the brickwork above was being supported by the existing patio doors.

Back at this property in Mapplewell after completing and posting the rear garden transformation, we moved on to the front of the home to finish the full project ✅

We laid around 140sqm of Raj Green porcelain to transform the front area, bringing the total installed across the whole property to 210sqm 🙌🏼

Because the original slabs were much thicker than the new porcelain, and the existing levels were uneven and unsafe in places, a new MOT Type 1 sub-base was installed over the existing area to create a fresh, solid foundation and raise the levels correctly throughout.

The new paving has completely transformed the space, giving it a much sharper finish and creating a far more practical outdoor area 🏡👌🏼

Raj Green porcelain patio completed at this lovely property in Mapplewell ✨

We began by removing all existing paving and taking down the old fencing. A new Type 1 MOT sub-base was then installed and fully compacted to achieve the correct levels and ensure a solid foundation 👷🏼‍♂️✅

We then laid 70sqm of high-quality porcelain paving around the rear of the property, giving the garden a refreshed look with a tidy, up-to-date finish that the customer can enjoy for years to come 🏡
