We’ve been busy adding further access control to a local mortuary, building on the existing system we previously installed to meet the site’s evolving requirements.

From controlled entry points to secure staff access, the system has been expanded to provide authorised personnel with secure and controlled access where it’s needed most.

⚡ Another recent project completed.

Following a lightning strike that damaged the existing intruder alarm system, we were called in to replace and upgrade the installation, restoring the site’s security with a modern, reliable system.

Fortunately, lightning-related damage is uncommon, but it highlights how vulnerable electronic security systems can be to power surges and extreme weather.

Another quality installation completed by the team, and the site is now fully protected once again.

🚨 We're Hiring | Senior Fire Alarm Engineer 🚨

Join a company that values quality, professionalism and doing the job right.

We're looking for an experienced Senior Fire Alarm Engineer to join our growing engineering team.

If you have extensive experience installing, commissioning, servicing and fault-finding commercial fire alarm systems, we'd love to hear from you.

🔧 What you'll be doing:

✅ Installation and commissioning of conventional, addressable and networked fire alarm systems
✅ Servicing and maintenance to BS 5839 standards
✅ Advanced fault finding and repairs
✅ Technical support, site surveys and customer advice
✅ Mentoring junior engineers and apprentices
✅ Ensuring compliance with SSAIB, BAFE and British Standards

👨‍🔧 We're looking for someone with:

✔ Minimum 8 years' experience within the fire alarm industry
✔ FIA Advanced Fire Alarm qualifications (or equivalent)
✔ City & Guilds / NVQ Level 3 Electrical Installation (or equivalent)
✔ ECS Card
✔ Full UK Driving Licence
✔ Strong knowledge of BS 5839 and fire safety legislation
✔ Experience with systems such as Advanced, Gent, Notifier, Kentec, C-TEC, Siemens, Morley, Protec, Ziton, EMS, Hyfire, Apollo, Hochiki and similar manufacturers.
