Hugh Strain Ltd, a multi-trade construction business based in Ayr, is looking to expand our team!

We are currently looking to take on a Labourer and Joiner to join our growing team.

🪚 JOINER & LABOURER – REQUIREMENTS

✅ Minimum 4 years' experience
✅ Must have a full, valid driving licence
✅ Must have own power tools
🚐 Company vans supplied
✅ Reliable and hardworking
✅ Good attitude and work ethic
✅ Able to work independently and as part of a team

Corney & Barrow, established in 1780, are one of the oldest independent wine merchants in the UK. We have recently been appointed to carry out office refurbishment to upgrade office space, kitchen and restroom areas.

In 1994, Corney & Barrow’s Scottish operation merged with Whighams of Ayr, one of the longest-established wine merchants in the UK. As well as Whighams' residence in Academy Street in Ayr, Corney & Barrow took over the 1766-built cellars, constructed for the sole purpose of storing imported wines, ports and sherries shipped from around Europe. These cellars are very much still in use today for long-term customer reserve storage.
