What a day at the Mid-Argyll Show! Our team was ready to go bright and early, and it turned out to be a fantastic day out.

We had free sweets and juice for the kids, plus tea, coffee, and something a wee bit stronger for the adults. The best part was seeing the youngsters climb right aboard our big machines and sit in the seats. We might have met a few future operators today!

Thank you to everyone who stopped by for a chat, a drink, or to look at the equipment. We are proud to be part of such a brilliant community.

Getting ground prep wrong means paying for it twice!

We recently stepped in to fix a waterlogged planting site where the initial groundwork failed to account for heavy soil and natural water flow, starving the young saplings of oxygen.

The ICD Contracting team got the project back on track with:
• Targeted drainage trenches to clear standing water.
• Corrective mounding to safely elevate root systems.

Making tracks in Glencoe!

We’ve been out in the stunning (but soggy) Highlands this week with our Wacker Neuson ET145. This machine is the perfect "champion of compacts" as it's powerful enough for big jobs but agile enough to navigate sensitive terrain. ICD Contracting Ltd has been brought in by RTS Forestry to dig out drainage ditches for a young Sitka crop that’s been struggling with waterlogged soils. Getting that water moving is key to ensuring these trees have the best start possible.
