⏳Progress Report⏳

The latest from our project in Ashwell as it is now nearing completion, and it’s fantastic to see all the hard work that has gone into the build coming together.

We’re currently working through the final details and finishing touches before handing over the completed project to our client.

There’s still a little way to go, but we’re incredibly pleased with how it’s looking and can’t wait to show you the finished result!

We have recently completed internal structural alteration works to an occupied property in Wotton to create open plan living and this is what our client had to say!

Progress continues on one of our Hitchin projects!

With the substructure now complete, work has started on installing the block and beam floor. We've also successfully erected the first two structural steel posts, which will provide support for the new first-floor extension.

Several more steel beams are still to be installed to create the goalpost frame reinforcement around the external door openings and transfer the loads from the extension above. These structural elements are key to achieving the client's spacious open-plan kitchen and dining area.

Another project moving along nicely in Hitchin! 👷‍♂️

We've completed the foundations, including both pad and trench footings. To protect the neighbouring extension, some foundation sections were constructed in carefully controlled 1m lengths.

The substructure walls are now nearing completion, with the block and beam floor installation coming up next.

Looking forward to sharing more progress with you soon.

🎉 Project Secured – Home Improvement by Modplan 🎉

We are delighted to announce that we have secured another exciting project in Hitchin.

The works will include a double-storey rear extension, creating a spacious open-plan kitchen, dining, and living area. We will also be installing a brand-new kitchen and utility room to enhance both functionality and style.

The first-floor extension will provide space for a new master bedroom, with the option to add an en-suite in the future.

⏳ Home Improvements by Modplan ⏳

Work is now underway on our latest project in Gravenhurst, where we’re transforming the existing rear extension into a bright and modern garden room. The space will feature new aluminium bifold doors and windows to create a seamless connection with the garden.

All new openings have been formed, and the structural steelwork is now installed to support the remaining existing structure.
