An excellent opportunity for an experienced Commercial Gas Engineer to join a well-established company based in Hull

The company is now looking for a Commercial Gas engineer to join their team.

We would also be open to employing an experienced Domestic Gas Engineer looking to become commercially qualified.

Role and responsibilities
The candidate will be able to service & repair a variety of domestic gas boilers & fires. General plumbing & electrical knowledge is advantageous.
Basic fault finding is essential, knowledge of S-plan & Y-plan, combi boilers, basic plumbing & electrical repairs.
Preventative and Reactive maintenance of Heating, Water and Gas systems
Setting to work and commissioning of installed gas fired systems
Routine servicing, troubleshooting and fixes
The candidate should be able to demonstrate good levels of customer service.
Knowledge of recent changes in legislation.
Fault finding and service on a variety of HVAC plant and installations
Being part of a callout rota
Reporting directly to the Operations Manager and / or Director

Candidate requirements
Gas ACS qualifications
Experience in Gas maintenance
Service and Repair experience
Hold a full driving licence
A CAN do attitude
Excellent communications skills

Beneficial but not essential

• Air Conditioning experience
• Computer literate
• A good understanding of Controls and BMS
