Today we built two bespoke timber leaf bins for our customer, providing a practical and sustainable way to dispose of garden waste.

The front timber boards can be easily removed down to the required level, allowing grass cuttings and leaves to be added and naturally composted over time. Once the bin is full or the compost is ready, the boards can be quickly removed for easy access and then securely slotted back into place.

We teamed up with a fantastic local gate builder to restore this existing gate and give it a new lease of life, helping it last for many more years to come.

This customer had an unused area of the garden that was previously used to keep chickens. We transformed the space by installing three large sleeper beds, creating a practical yet attractive feature that gives the garden a completely new lease of life.

The sleeper beds provide plenty of space for growing vegetables, while adding structure, character and a unique focal point to the garden. A great example of how an unused space can be transformed into something both functional and visually appealing.

A new sleeper retaining wall was built around the existing flower bed after the previous timber had started to deteriorate.

We also transformed the unused back corner of the garden into a practical seating area, creating the perfect space for a table and chairs while making better use of the available space.

A great fencing project completed this week, with 40 metres of new fencing installed using concrete posts and gravel boards, paired with closeboard panels for a strong and durable finish.

The closeboard panels can also be easily replaced individually if damaged, making future maintenance straightforward and cost-effective.

We also incorporated two timber gravel boards with purpose-built openings to allow hedgehogs to safely pass through, helping maintain a wildlife-friendly garden. 🦔🌿

On this project, we completely removed and rebuilt the customer’s garden pathway. We excavated and installed new brick edging using a strong cement mix to ensure long-term stability and prevent any future movement. The edging was extended to the bottom of the garden, creating a well-defined route through the flower beds. The existing pathway was then scraped back and resurfaced with a fresh layer of 10mm decorative stone, leaving a neat and durable finish.
