A huge congratulations to our On-Site Hub candidates from Brecon College (NPTC), who have successfully secured Carpentry Apprenticeships! 👏🔨

As part of their journey, the candidates have also completed a range of online training courses, including:

✅ Asbestos Awareness
✅ Manual Handling
✅ Working at Height

Each candidate has also received a Carpentry Toolkit to help them get started on their apprenticeship journey! 🧰

We're delighted to see them taking this exciting next step in their construction careers and wish them all the best for the future!

Earlier this week, our Training Coordinator, Matthew, and Placement Coordinator, Beverley, visited Bridgend College to meet with students and chat about their future opportunities in construction! 👷‍♂️🏗️

It was a great opportunity to discuss the apprenticeship routes available through Cyfle, what we can offer students once they complete their full-time courses, and the valuable work experience opportunities available through our On-Site Hub. 🔨

We're also pleased to share that Matthew and Beverley will now be visiting the college every two weeks, giving students a familiar face and the opportunity to pop over for an informal chat, ask questions and explore their next steps.

A big thank you to the Construction Team at Bridgend College and Rob Clover for helping make this possible! 👏

Think apprenticeships are just for school leavers? 🎓

Danny started his carpentry apprenticeship at 25, proving that there’s no set age for learning a trade and changing direction.

Now, he’s taking on more responsibility, developing his understanding of carpentry and solve problems as they arise on the job. 👷‍♂️

A group of runners completed a 30-mile journey from Ammanford to Port Talbot, raising over £3,000 in memory of Ioan Evans. 💚
