𝗢𝗦𝗙 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗨𝗡𝗗𝗣 𝗦𝗶𝗴𝗻 𝗦𝘁𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗴𝗶𝗰 𝗖𝗼𝗼𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗔𝗴𝗿𝗲𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁

Oromia Sovereign Fund (OSF) and the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) have signed a cooperation agreement to collaborate on key development priorities in Oromia.

The agreement was signed by Dr. Adare Asefa, CEO of OSF, and Dr. Samuel Gibade, UNDP Ethiopia Representative.

The partnership aims to combine UNDP’s expertise and experience with Oromia’s investment potential and resources to create new opportunities and accelerate inclusive and sustainable development.

𝙏𝙝𝙚 𝙘𝙤𝙤𝙥𝙚𝙧𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 𝙬𝙞𝙡𝙡 𝙛𝙤𝙘𝙪𝙨 𝙤𝙣:
• Strengthening institutions and governance systems
• Directing investment toward key growth sectors
• Promoting clean energy and climate-resilient infrastructure
• Protecting natural resources and promoting sustainable development
• Creating jobs and empowering communities
• Expanding and improving infrastructure
