Lumin. A pencil with nothing inside.

Made from a single piece of aluminium, with no mechanism. The metal’s own elasticity holds the graphite. It’s machined by CNC and finished by hand, and each one has its own engraved serial number.

It won Silver at the A’ Design Award 2025 in Art and Stationery Supplies.

A cloudy day in Barcelona, and we spent part of it at the Fundació Joan Miró, up on Montjuïc.

Xavier and I weren’t there to look around this time. We came to talk with the foundation about working together more. But before any meeting, we do what we always do: a walk through the museum shop first. It’s a place with hundreds of products on the shelves, and ours are among them: Shapes of Barcelona, Lovi, Leuchtrum notebooks and Livingly.

For us, the shop is more than a place to show our own work. We also act as a link between other brands and the museum, and we care about the right products finding the right place.

After the walk, we sat down with the Fundació and talked about what comes next. It was a good conversation, and there will be more to share soon.
