I'm delighted to announce and share with you the results of a new -successfully finished- experiment.

During the previous semester, new methods and techniques were implemented to deliver the course content of Architectural Design 6 at Architectural Engineering Department, Future University In Egypt - FUE .

The collaboration between students' teams and course staff was super effective in developing Projects that will be built after 100-150 years in environments to face different natural at different locations around the globe.

, , , Advanced Techniques, Applications' Integration, and other skills were developed successfully (according to the feedback from students).

Converting the course into encouraged the competitive spirit between students. Certificates + Bonus Grades were awarded to the top 3 .

Students, TAs, and myself had so much during this journey.

Dear students, Your magnificent efforts and learning capabilities really surprised me. I'm so proud of each one of you.

I was honored to represent the Interior Architecture Program at Future University In Egypt - FUE in the collaborative workshop between our Department and the department of Interior Design at جامعة الأميرة نورة بنت عبدالرحمن .

The workshop title: "Insights on Artificial Intelligent Applications for Interior Designers". Participants of this workshop varied between students & academic members from both universities, and practitioners of interior design too.

I clarified to participants the main concepts of AI . Then, we discussed the AI technology Development and the expected timeline of this evolution. After that, I presented the know how of different types of AI applications. And the benefits of using AI in interior design .

The second half of the workshop included a specialized training for participants on more than 15 AI applications that serve the development of the interior design profession. I was really surprised from the magnificent results done by participants which knew nothing about AI before.

We summed up the workshop by sharing the outcomes, and discussing if AI will replace the designers

I'm sharing with you some of the products done by participants, and some of their feedback.

Thanks to Prof. ElSayed Tag Eldin the dean of faculty of Engineering & Technology, and to Prof. Yehya Serag the head of Architectural Engineering Department for their support and trust.

شارك طلاب مقرر التصميم المعماري ٦ بقسم الهندسة المعمارية بجامعة المستقبل تحت إشراف أعضاء هيئة التدريس بعدد ثلاث مشروعات (من اجمالي ثلاثون مشروع مقدمة على مستوى المكاتب الهندسية والشركات والجامعات في مصر) لمسابقة تمثيل مصر في معرض بينالي فينيسيا الدولي للعمارة في دورته الثامنة عشر بإيطاليا..

ينظم المسابقة الجهاز القومي للتنسيق الحضاري تحت إشراف وزارة الثقافة.. وحفل إعلان النتائج وإفتتاح معرض الأعمال المشاركة في المسابقة يوم الأحد الموافق ٢٧ نوفمبر ٢٠٢٢ بدار الأوبرا المصرية بحضور وزيرة الثقافة د. نيفين الكيلاني..

وقد أشادت لجنة التحكيم الخاصة بالمسابقة بجودة وكفاءة التصميمات المقدمة وبالأفكار الإبداعية للمشروعات، وقد تسلم الطلاب والقائمين على تدريس المقرر شهادات تقدير لمشاركتهم المتميزة في المسابقة..

يذكر أن معرض بينالي فينيسيا للعمارة هو المعرض الأعرق على المستوى الدولي والذي يقام في مدينة فينيسيا بإيطاليا مرة كل عامين منذ ١٩٨٠ وتحرص كافة الدول على المشاركة والتمثيل في هذا الملتقى المعماري الدولي المهم..
