Job Purpose
The Electrical Tender Engineer will be responsible for preparing competitive technical and commercial proposals for electrical projects.
This includes reviewing tender documents, drawings, and specifications, performing quantity take-offs, estimating costs, preparing BOQs, and coordinating with suppliers and subcontractors to ensure accurate and timely submission of tenders.

Key Responsibilities
* Review and analyze tender documents, drawings, and specifications.
* Prepare detailed cost estimates, BOQs, and technical proposals.
* Obtain quotations from suppliers and subcontractors and evaluate them technically and commercially.
* Ensure compliance with project specifications, standards, and client requirements.
* Coordinate with design, procurement, and project teams during the tendering phase.
* Prepare technical clarifications and responses to client queries.
* Attend pre-bid and post-bid meetings when required.
* Assist in the preparation of project budgets and cost breakdowns.
* Support value engineering and alternative proposals to enhance competitiveness.
* Maintain updated records of supplier prices and market trends.

Qualifications & Requirements
* Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
* 2–7 years of experience in electrical tendering or estimation (preferably in construction or industrial projects).
* Strong knowledge of electrical systems (LV, MV, lighting, power distribution, etc.).
* Proficient in AutoCAD, MS Excel, and estimation software.
* Good understanding of tendering procedures and contract conditions.
* Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
* Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
