Boxenhaltung | Nicht jedes Pferd ist für die Offenstallhaltung geeignet und fühlt sich dort wohl.
Gerade rangniedrigere Tiere können dort großem Stress ausgesetzt sein.
Einzelboxen haben den Vorteil, dass die Pferde ihre Ruhe haben und auch kleinere Verletzungen auskurieren können, ohne ihre gewohnte Umgebung verlassen zu müssen.
Sozialkontakt und Bewegung werden bewusst gestaltet, nicht nur beim aktiven Reiten, sondern auch z.B. in der Führanlage oder auf dem Laufband.
Wichtig ist bei der Boxenhaltung aber nicht nur, auf auseichende Bewegung zu achten, sondern auch eine gute Durchlüftung im Stallgebäude.

The advantage of individual boxes is that the horses can rest and heal minor injuries without having to leave their familiar surroundings. Social contact and exercise are consciously organised, not only during active riding, but also in the horse walker or on the treadmill, for example.
However, it is crucial to ensure sufficient exercise in the stall and good ventilation in the stable building.
