🖥 The Easson ES-14 is a three axis readout with the application chosen during setup, so the same unit runs a lathe, mill, borer, drill, grinder or wire cut machine.

🎛 Display resolution goes down to 0.1µm across three optical linear scale inputs, on light touch keys rated for around 100,000 presses with chemical resistance.

🔌 A switching power supply takes AC110V to 220V at 50 to 60Hz, and the housing is aluminium, white, 3.5kg on the bench.

The engineers who pick the wrong single-axis DRO usually choose the display before the scale.

The machine already outputs a signal — the linear scale or rotary encoder feeding a digital A quadrature B pulse. The readout has to accept that signal, not the other way round.

Once that matches, the rest is about what you want to read: length or angle, a fine resolution, and error compensation when the setup is demanding.

It also has to talk to the machine or computer, so USB and UART options decide how easily it drops in.

Match the readout to the machine's own signal first, and the remaining choices get easy.
