The Final Chapter of a Life-Changing Project: Hong Kong Light Public Housing
Hong Kong's Light Public Housing program has just reached its grand finale. The last MiC module of the Ma On Shan Heng Kwong Street project was precisely lifted into place—marking a life-changing milestone for thousands of families waiting to move out of cramped subdivided flats and into fully finished homes with lifts.
In the final batch of SS N520 projects, the CSCEC Greentech - AluHouse joint venture was responsible for the supply and delivery of all MiC modules: around 16,000 modules across 10 high-rise buildings, with a total construction area of 251,000 square meters, providing nearly 13,000 residential units. Combined with the 9,312 modules delivered earlier under SS M518, CSCEC Science and Industry has supplied more than 25,000 modules for Hong Kong's Light Public Housing program.
What makes this possible? Our MiC (Modular Integrated Construction) system builds homes the way cars are made. Over 90% of structural, MEP, facade, and fit-out work is completed in the factory—fully furnished, ready to move in. Our AI-powered design platform boosts design efficiency by 60%. Our smart production line can handle 81 different structural module types. And every module carries a unique QR code for full quality traceability.
From the very first Light Public Housing project to this final one, CSCEC Science and Industry is bringing "international standards + Hong Kong regulations + GBA smart manufacturing" to the world.
改變生命的工程：香港簡約公屋收官
近日，香港「簡約公屋計劃」迎來收官之作——馬鞍山恒光街項目最後一件MiC模塊精準就位。這一香港重大民生工程，目標5年內新建3萬套簡約公屋，優先解決輪候公屋逾三年人士的居住需求。
在最後一批SS N520項目中，中建科工綠色科技-鋁遊家聯營體負責全項目MiC模塊供應與運送，提供約1.6萬個MiC模塊，共10座高層樓宇，總建築面積25.1萬平方米，建成後為基層市民提供近1.3萬個居住單位。加上此前SS M518項目的9312個模塊，中建科工已累計為香港簡約公屋供應超2.5萬個模塊，助力萬千家庭從「劏房」遷入精裝「電梯房」。
這背後是我們「像造汽車一樣造房子」的模塊化集成建造（MiC）體系：在工廠完成結構、機電、幕墻、裝修等90%以上工序，全屋精裝交付；AI智能設計平臺提升設計效率60%；智能製造產線可滿足81種結構箱型生產；每個模塊擁有唯一二維碼「身份證」，實現質量全程可溯源。
從香港首個簡約公屋到收官之作，中建科工以「國際標準 + 香港規範 + 灣區智造」的實踐，讓中國模塊化建築走向全球。
