Founded by Chen, the garden is dedicated to bonsai cultivation, artistic creation, promotion of bonsai art, and research and development of bonsai techniques. It serves as a communication center for Bonsai Clubs International (BCI) and a cooperation center for the World Bonsai Friendship Federation (WBFF). With 60 years of experience in bonsai, Chen has made significant contributions to the development of Lingnan bonsai and introduced Lingnan bonsai to the global bonsai community. Since its establishment, Baowen Garden has welcomed many visitors, including domestic and international bonsai experts, association leaders, enthusiasts, and various social figures. The garden has provided a platform for the exchange of bonsai skills and the dissemination of knowledge. The garden has participated in numerous international and national bonsai exhibitions and achieved great success with its exhibited works.
