Located 100 kilometers north of Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada, Vidir Machine has grown to become a leading supplier of both motorized and non-motorized storage and display systems. Last month, our very own Director of Human Resources, Cristina Vieira, CPHR, was nominated as a finalist for the HR Executive Award at the CPHR Excellence Awards, which Vidir was a sponsor for. The HR Executive Award recognizes executive-level HR Professionals who are a trusted resource to organizational leaders, advancing corporate objectives, setting policy, and supporting sound governance. Being nominated was an honour in itself and portray our core value of Raise Others Up. Congratulations to all winners - well deserved!

A reminder to all Grade 12 students interested that our scholarship application deadline is TOMORROW.

At Vidir, a core value is to Raise Others Up. We are actively involved in our local communities in the Interlake and believe strongly in the talent that comes out of the area. Vidir is now offering a $1,000 scholarship to one Interlake grade 12 student who is pursuing post-secondary education. Included with the scholarship is also an offer of one summer of employment to shadow in their prospective career, with the opportunity to possibly do more summers in the future.

Another core value at Vidir is that Education Elevates Excellence. In Raising Others Up, especially with our employees and their families, we want to see the future generation continue to learn and elevate both the Interlake and the world. Vidir is now offering two $1,000 scholarships to the children of Vidir employees.

On Saturday at the 2026 Teulon Rockwood Fire Department Ball, our very own team member, Robin Chestnut, was awarded an exemplary service medal and an engraved silver axe for his over 20 years of service in the department.
