Today we had the pleasure of a private tour from Old Dominion Freight Line - the carrier that handles 95% of our cross border kiln shipments. From the 267 bays! And nearly 500 staff, to state of the art scales and equipment and the 30’ high ceilings, it was quite the sight….but most importantly the care taken to organize so much activity - forklift drivers doing their dance slowly and attentively, and divk workers strapping literally every pallet in place…it’s no wonder we’ve never had a freight claim.
