Let’s settle this once and for all.

“Bleach is the best way to remove mould.”

Fact or myth?

It’s a common belief, but the answer isn’t as straightforward as most people think.

While bleach may remove surface staining on some hard, non-porous surfaces, it isn’t the recommended solution for mould growing on materials like drywall, wood or insulation. If the moisture source isn’t addressed, the mould is likely to return.
