That’s the technique on this one. Efficient, fast, effective, and not the least bit flashy. Just a clean, simple motion that works, one window at a time.

We were in LaSalle for this one, and there’s something I like about the rhythm of it. You don’t clean a whole house in one grand gesture. You do one window, then the next, then the next, and eventually the whole home is done.

We were in Harrow for this one. The eaves were completely plugged and full, and that’s a bigger problem than it looks. Standing water rots the fascia, and the sheer weight of it pulls the eavestroughs away from the house.

The SkyVac camera let us spot the blockage right away. We sucked it out, and the water started draining instantly. The last few seconds of the video show it rushing down the downspout, which is exactly what you want to see.

Over the years we’ve pulled out balls, rocks, shingles, nails, mud, mittens, dog toys, Nerf bullets, even small trees. Whatever’s in there, we get it out, and we do it without blowing dirt all over your property.

Autumn is coming, and this is the season everyone remembers their eavestroughs at once. Book ahead. We get busy.

How do you clean your screens? 🖼️

Be honest, are you still doing it in the bathtub or out on the driveway with a hose?

There’s a better way. This screen came to me kicked full of dust, and the screen cleaner pulled all of it out. By the time I was done, you could barely see the mesh. It even lifts out heavy pet hair.

We do clean screens by hand when a job calls for it, but this method is the most thorough I’ve found at getting every bit of dust and dirt off.

(And yes, that’s an accidental Bob Ross impression happening in the audio. I get quiet and gentle when I’m concentrating. Happy little screens.) 😄

Thank you so much! I really enjoyed meeting you and, while your gutter cleaning was a bit of a challenge, I was glad to be able to point out a few issues that we can address in the spring. I hope the SkyVac gutter vacuum wasn't too loud — it did a great job filling up the green-waste bags and leaving no mess behind. Take care and we'll be in touch again soon :-)

Concrete guys, I have questions. 🪟

Kenny and I were doing an inside and out clean in Windsor when I got to the side door and found concrete flecked all over the glass, up to six feet in the air. This home just had a brand new driveway put in, and somehow it ended up all the way up here.

Usually when I’m removing concrete, it’s on basement windows down at ground level. Finding it this high up is unusual.

Here’s how it comes off: a window cleaning razor first, then steel wool, and finally a normal squeegee clean. The glass came out perfect.

So if you’ve got something stuck on your glass that’s driving you crazy, concrete, paint, adhesive, whatever it is, give me a call. Chances are I can get it off.

Sometimes you just have to do the best with what you’ve got. 🪟

I got up the ladder and realized the squeegee in my hand had a nick in the rubber, which leaves a streak on every pass. I could have climbed all the way down to swap it, or worked with what was in my pouch. What I had was a tiny squeegee, a lot smaller than I’d choose for a window this size, but it did the job just fine.

We’ve all been there in one way or another. Making do, getting creative, and finding out it works better than expected.

So I’m curious: when’s a time you had to make do with what you had? Did it work out? Let me know below.
