Every piece that leaves our workshop starts the same way : with a careful eye on the wood. We look for the grain, the character, the story already in the timber. Then the hours begin: the cutting, the sanding, the finishing, the details most people will never notice but we can't leave undone.

Handmade isn't just about the product. It's about the hands, the patience, and the pride that goes into every single board, tray, and plaque. It's knowing that no two pieces are ever exactly alike : and that yours was made with intention, not an assembly line.

We're heading to Barrie! 🪵🍂

🤠🌾 Well, saddle up, Barrie — Genuine Creations Canada is coming to the Hoedown! 🎶🐎

We’re mighty pleased to announce that we’ll be vendors at the 5th Annual By The Bay Fall Fest — Hoedown Edition!

On Sunday, September 27th, Will Dwyer Park is turning into one big country celebration on the beautiful Barrie waterfront. Think 100+ local artisan vendors, good food, family fun, music, and plenty of Hoedown spirit! 🎸🌾

We’ll be bringing along our cutting boards, charcuterie trays, engraved plaques, and plenty more of our crafted wood creations. 🪵❤️

So grab your family, round up your friends, dust off those cowboy boots 🤠 (we won’t judge if they’re still in the closet), and come spend the day by the water.

And while you’re there, mosey on over and say howdy to us — then take some time to wander through and check out all the other fantastic local vendors joining us. There’s going to be a whole lot of talent gathered in one place!

🎸🪵 Guess who’s coming to Minden?!

We’re packing up the boards and heading to the FAF Festival — Friends & Family Festival at the Minden Fairgrounds, September 18–20!

Three days of live music, great food, a kids’ zone, and an artisan marketplace filled with talented Ontario makers. Sounds like a pretty good weekend to us! 🎶🍔

You’ll find Genuine Creations Canada alongside all the other amazing vendors taking part in the festival, bringing plenty of our crafted woodwork — cutting boards, charcuterie trays, engraved plaques, and more. 🪵✨

There’s going to be lots to see, taste, listen to and discover, so come wander the marketplace, support the local vendors, enjoy the music, and maybe find something you didn’t know you needed! 😉

One of the best things about a local market is getting to see these creations in person — feel the wood, appreciate the details, and meet the people who put their time and passion into making them.

What a great weekend at our home studio! 🏡✨

A big thank-you to everyone who stopped in during the Highlands East Studio Tour. We really enjoyed showing you around, talking about what we make, hearing your stories, and sharing more than a few laughs along the way. 😊

It’s one thing to make things in the shop, but getting the chance to meet the people who stop by and see what we’ve been up to makes weekends like this pretty special.

And a special thank-you to Letter K for stopping in and spending some time with us too! 💛

Peterborough, We’re Bringing the Boards! 🪵🎉

Peterborough, get ready! We’re bringing the boards, the serving pieces, and plenty of beautiful wood creations to the Peterborough Farmers Market this Saturday, August 29th! 🪵✨

Now, if someone could just have a little chat with Mother Nature, that would be great. 😂 She hasn’t exactly been generous with the sunshine on weekends this year. We’re starting to think she’s trying to make up for all the perfect weekend weather she gave us last year! ☀️🌧️

But rain or shine, we’ll be there — and we’re bringing some seriously good-looking wood with us!
