I don't know about answers to everything, but I do know I always feel a little better after spending time in the garden.

It's wet out there this morning, so maybe a little housework....

After finishing my handmade garden journal, I wasn't completely satisfied with the corners. At the suggestion of a YouTube follower, I ordered these metal corner protectors and added them today.

I think they give the journal a much more finished look while also helping protect the corners from wear.

Our nighttime garden inspector was busy again. 🦝
Apparently my solar fountain wasn't arranged to their liking, so they made a few adjustments overnight. 🫤

Happy Father's Day! 💙

My husband loves cherries. (I don't mind them myself. 😋) We popped by the local garden center this week and he planted a dwarf cherry tree.
He's making sure it's well protected because our resident raccoon apparently believes every new garden addition requires a personal inspection. 😆

The rain and wind knocked over these tall irises so I thought I bring in the house. The cat immediately reminded me to check to make sure they are safe. 😁 She loves flowers.
They are not! So out they went.
I will have to wait for my roses to bloom for inside bouquets.

WD-40 stands for Water Displacement, 40th Formula.

The product was developed to prevent rust and displace moisture, and it took 40 attempts to get the formula right. The name came straight from the chemist's lab notes.

Forty tries... very persistent, but not very imaginative when it came to naming things. 😄
