AMTEK Ltd, and Nova Sun Power are pleased to announce they are now sister companies following the purchase of 100% of the shares of AMTEK by Cynthia Cormier and Robert MacKean, the owners of Nova Sun Power on December, 4 2023.
With the collaboration of these established businesses: AMTEK in commercial and industrial electrical contracting Since 1976 and NSP in the installation of Solar Photovoltaic(PV) systems since 1996. They will be able to provide enhanced services and take on more and larger projects through the complement of their experience and combined workforce of 9 Red Seal Electricians and apprentices. In particular it will enhance the ability of the companies to support their clients in energy transition projects as green power and decarbonization increase in priority for regions and businesses. Both companies will continue their commitment to quality and safety.
AMTEK's services include panel fabrication, control systems and utility interconnection to commercial and industrial clients across a wide range of sectors including renewables throughout the Maritimes. They are QPS Certified and also offer Label engraving.
Nova Sun Power has installed several megawatts of PV systems at hundreds of locations across the Maritime Provinces. Their work includes design, procurement, installation and maintenance services for residential and commercial projects and covers both roof and ground mounted systems as well as supporting battery systems. Efficiency Nova Scotia has NSP as a preferred solar installer.
