This was a fun restoration project!
We removed over 30 years of spar varnish from this incredible chainsaw-carved totem pole using laser cleaning technology. The precision of the laser allowed us to preserve all the fine carved details and texture without the risk of damage that can come with sanding, blasting, or other mechanical methods.
No harsh chemicals, no media blasting, and virtually no mess to clean up — just clean, controlled restoration with amazing results.
Projects like this really showcase how effective laser cleaning can be on delicate wood restoration work where preserving character and detail is everything.

This part was a problem. Not a simple clean.
White powdercoat—especially with heavy pooling—is one of the most difficult coatings to remove.
Traditional methods? Slow, messy, and high risk to the base material.
Here’s what that usually means:
Media blasting → potential surface damage + cleanup
Grinding → inconsistent results + labor heavy
Chemical stripping → hazardous + time-consuming
Replacement → expensive + downtime
Instead, we went straight to the source.
Using precision laser cleaning, we removed the coating completely—right down to bare aluminum—without damaging the substrate or altering the geometry.
Result: ✔ Fully restored surface
✔ No material loss
✔ No secondary cleanup
✔ Ready for refinishing immediately
When coatings get difficult, this is where laser becomes the better option—not just technically, but financially.
Less downtime. Less risk. More control.

We saved this clutch from the scrap bin… using light.
This heavily rusted assembly looked like it was done for—but with precision laser cleaning, we were able to strip away corrosion without damaging the underlying metal, fiber disc, or components.
No grinding. No blasting. No chemicals.
Just controlled energy doing exactly what it’s supposed to.
This is where laser cleaning really shines—restoring parts others would throw away, reducing waste, and keeping original components in service.
May the force be with you. ⚡
