📣 Hello Waterloo Region – I’m Roger, and I’m here to help.
After a lifetime spent building homes and completing renovations from the ground up, I thought retirement would mean stepping away from tools. But after moving to Waterloo to be closer to my sons and grandkids, I was shocked at what contractors were charging for even the simplest repairs. I found myself asking, “How does anyone on a limited budget afford this?”
Too often, the answer is—they don’t. The work just doesn’t get done.
One day, my son said something that stuck with me:
"Dad, you’ve got the skills. You’re retired. If this bothers you so much, why not be the one to help?"
And so that’s exactly what I’m doing - Roger to the Rescue!
I'm proud to introduce The 55+ Fix-It Guy. A pay-what-you-can home repair service for the 55+ community. You buy the materials, and I’ll bring the tools, time, and experience to help get it done.
Let’s make it possible for more people to stay safe, secure, and comfortable in their own homes.
🔧 Honest work. No pressure. Just help.
