Iceland Concrete was selected to perform concrete preparation, placement and finishing at the Shoppers Drug Mart in Dauphin Manitoba. The team successfully completed the 15,000 SF slab ( 185M3) safely and on time.

The Iceland Concrete team has worked hard over the past year to hone our skills with V***r Blasting equipment. These units provide clean, effective surface clean up in many applications.

Wet abrasive blasting (also known as vapour abrasive blasting) removes coatings, contaminants, stains, corrosion, and residues from hard surfaces including concrete surfaces, steel, aluminum, and wood.

The main advantage of vapour abrasive blasting over dry blasting is that it reduces dust, permitting operators to work in an extensive range of environments with minimal setup and cleanup costs.
Offering a cleaner, more consistent finished, ready to coat surface, with no embedded particles or clinging dust. Vapour abrasive blasting is similar to dry blasting, except that the blast media is moistened prior to impacting the surface and creates up to 92% less dust.
This innovative and flexible technology has many applications including Concrete Surface Preparation, Graffiti Removal, Corrosion Control, Facade Renovation, Paint Coating Removal, and Anti Fouling Surface Preparation.

The Iceland team hard at work once again! On site in Star City Saskatchewan providing the initial stages of concrete placement. Using the Laser screed to save time and provide increased accuracy especially for sloped slabs.

Iceland Concrete Ltd. is committed to the highest quality and standards in all our concrete projects. Our amazing crew was onsite at the largest Potash project in Saskatchewan's history again this week. The team completed another mass concrete pile cap pour totaling almost 1,300 cubic meters.
"The pour went flawlessly" according to Iceland's Travis Ford.
"The reliable supply of concrete and onsite coordination creates the opportunity for these type of successful pours"
