It's been a long winter and everyone is looking forward to spring and summer but before you turn your water on to the outside, check the evening low temperatures. You shouldn't turn on your water to the outside if the low temperature is dropping below freezing. If you do turn your water on the outside, you may want to turn it off when you're finished and then open your outside taps/valves. This way, the water in the pipes/manifold will not be under pressure if it happens to freeze.
