PART-TIME SERVICE TECHNICIAN — HOT TUBS
Sanctuary Spas & Re-Creation | Warman, SK
$28–$30/hour | 1–2 days/week
We're a hot tub sales and service company based in Warman, and we're looking for someone to join us on a part-time basis — initially about 1–2 days per week, with occasional additional hours as work allows.
This role is not for someone learning mechanical work for the first time. We need someone who can troubleshoot and figure things out independently, ask the right questions when needed, and get a job done without someone looking over their shoulder. Hot tub experience would be a bonus, but it's not the main thing we're looking for — if you have a solid background in appliance repair, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, RV repair, equipment maintenance, industrial work, or similar hands-on mechanical trades, the hot tub side is learnable.
WHAT THE WORK LOOKS LIKE
— Diagnosing and repairing hot tub problems at customer sites and in our shop
— Assisting with shop refurbishment and repairs
— Helping another technician on some jobs
— Assisting with hot tub deliveries (physically demanding — moving and placing tubs is part of the role)
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
— Strong mechanical troubleshooting ability — you've worked through unfamiliar equipment problems before and you know how to think them through
— Comfort using tools including a multimeter
— Reliability — showing up when scheduled matters more to us than any particular credential
— Good judgment and comfort dealing with customers professionally
— Physical capability for field service and moving hot tubs
— Valid driver's licence
THE KIND OF PERSON THIS WORKS WELL FOR
— You don't guess when you're unsure — you ask
— You're transparent about mistakes and treat them as something to learn from, not hide
— You take pride in doing things properly, not just quickly
— You're comfortable working through a problem with logic and patience rather than forcing an answer
This is a part-time role — 1–2 days per week, with occasional additional hours available for deliveries, coverage when our other tech is away, or busier periods. Schedule flexibility is an asset. If you're semi-retired, self-employed with some open days, or otherwise looking for meaningful skilled work without the commitment of a full-time position, this could be a good fit.
We're a growing business and things continue to evolve as we improve how we operate — the work is varied, the problems are interesting, and there's real opportunity to contribute and take ownership. That tends to appeal to people who enjoy learning and adapting, not just clocking in and out.
If that sounds like you, we'd love to hear from you.
Please send your resume along with a brief note about your background and availability to [email protected]. You're also welcome to call us at 306-717-3821.
