Got the chance to do a fun little door install in Fernwood this past week. Added a set of French doors to create some separation from the laundry machines. A transom light was added to maintain some natural light into the corridor area. The trickiest part was fitting as large a door as possible, into such tight framing and still have the trim flow and look appropriate and proportionate to the space.

A gorgeous fir door kit I had the privilege of installing at a home in Cordova bay. This kit came all broken down in components. The entire jam was assembled on site. Morticed the door, installed the side lights and trimmed it out. And yes, it's off center on the outside, but dead center on the inside. That's Reno for ya.

Absolutely love the way this privacy screen turned out. It's kind of a signature move at this point.
By beveling the slats and installing at specific orientation, we can still let air and light through, but the gaze of the neighbours.
