Lately I’ve been thinking a lot about how I want to show up here. I’ve struggled with the direction this platform has taken and my relationship with it, but I also find so much joy in connection so I keep coming back.
Since the beginning, this account has been about my journey as a landscape designer — sharing gardens, projects, ideas, and the things I’ve been creating as a student and professionally. But life shifts, circumstances change, and I’m in a season of shifting with it.
Right now, I’m taking some space from client work and giving myself room to explore what’s next. I’m designing my own home and garden, getting stronger physically and mentally, following the things that spark my curiosity, and making more space for creativity in all its forms. And most importantly, spending time with my family.
I want this space to reflect more of that. So you’ll probably see me showing up a little differently here — still with plenty of gardens and plants, because that part of me isn’t going anywhere, but also with more of the things I’m noticing, trying, learning, creating, and enjoying along the way.
I don’t have a perfectly mapped-out destination, and I actually think that’s part of what feels exciting about this chapter. I am flexing my surrender muscles, practicing letting go.
I’d love for this page to feel like a place to share the complete journey. And if you’re in a season of change or curiosity yourself, maybe we can figure some of it out together. 💚
