๐ŸŒฟ Not every plant gets the same haircut. And honestlyโ€ฆ they shouldnโ€™t. ๐Ÿ˜

For this maintenance job, the Arctic Willow got the machine trimmer treatment โœ‚๏ธ โ€” quick, clean, and perfect for keeping its shape.

The Dogwood? That one got the VIP treatment. ๐Ÿ‘‘
We hand-pruned it branch by branch, because Dogwoods benefit from a more careful approach to encourage healthy, natural growth.

We believe good maintenance isnโ€™t just about making everything look tidy. Itโ€™s about knowing what each plant needs and treating it accordingly. ๐ŸŒฑ

A little extra attention now = healthier, happier plants later.

Thatโ€™s our kind of maintenance. ๐ŸŒฟ

Paprika yarrow (Achillea millefolium โ€˜Paprikaโ€™) is a tough, low-maintenance perennial plant. Beautiful and perfect for Okanagan Climate.
As you could notice, we do love a Yarrow. With Hungarian roots, Travis loves to add paprika to his food, but no, Paprika Yarrow is not edible lol

A little about us:

๐ŸŒฑ ๐“๐ซ๐š๐ฏ๐ข๐ฌ is the owner of Yarrow Landscapes, Red Seal Horticulturist and Landscape Consultant with over 25 years' hands-on experience. He has a passion for plants, years of experience, and plenty of knowledge to share. Heโ€™s also an experienced mountain biker and snowboarder, a dedicated dad, and usually the person making everyone laugh while working.

๐Ÿ”๏ธ ๐•๐ข๐œ๐ค๐ฒ is a landscaping technician and Travisโ€™s partner in training. Sheโ€™s originally from Germany and is learning alongside Travis while bringing her own experience, high energy, and love of the outdoors and plants to the team.

Outside of landscaping, sheโ€™s a former tree planter, sourdough bread baker, passionate triathlete and in winter you will find her at the mountain as an experienced skier (a decent snowboarder) and works as Ski Patrol at SilverStar Mountain Resort.
